To the left is deployed 1st Battalion (Group) 26th SS Panzer Grenadier Regiment (Major Krause) and 4th Company 12th SS Panzer

Close to us, In the middle on border of a forest (on the hill) is 2nd Battalion SS Panzer Artillery Regiment 12
In the middle on the bridge is 12th SS Artillery Regiment OP team
To the right, in the ROTS is deployed 4th (Heavy) Company from 1st Battalion (Group) 26th SS Panzer Grenadier Regiment




First look from Allied (Canadian) side.
On the left road is La Regiment de la Chaudiere, 8th Canadian Infantry Brigade (Lt Colonel Mathieu)
On the right road is two company from 8th Canadian Infantry Brigade and A Squadron,
10th Canadian Armoured Regiment. Close to him is 46th Royal Marine Commando, 4th Special Service Brigade (Lt Colonel Hardy)
In the middle is Troop, 2nd Independent Royal Marine Armoured Support Battery

12th SS Panzer Regiment (Capt Pfeiffer), first Panter is heavy damaged, PIAT and another Smerman + Sherman Firefly can not

destroyed Panters. Two Shermans and Sherman Firefly have heavy damage + light damage...



Counter attack 1st Battalion (Group) 26th SS Panzer Grenadier Regiment, two Panzer Grenadier Company fire PanzerFaust, but any

result or only light damage Sherman tanks...., PanzerChrecke team from HQ on the way to fight! 50% destroyed Panters tanks from

12th SS Panzer Regiment. Very bad situation for me, my OP team on the bridge is destroyed. Critical phase for German defenders.


The same issue. 16th (Pioneer) Company attack to Sherman. 50% tanks from 12th SS Panzer Regiment is destroyed, 50% tanks have

heavy damage, but still is fighting! 75% Sherman from 10th Canadian Armoured Regiment have heavy damage + light damage! It is

crazy situation. German commander move all Panzer Grenadier Company to fight with Canadian Armoured Regiment! Total critical

phase for me......


Canadian Sherman from 10th Canadian Armoured Regiment must retreat to cover (because was unsuccessfull test morale).

Situation si not good for German defenders! Canadians are everywhere. To the right is heavy tank fight with infantry from both side.
Rots is OK, PIAT is occuppied bridge.
